Here's sweet Mojave
It's me again! I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to post this, so I'm posting it now. I went to this horse riding lesson place called Horse Country Farm, and what I do is I work for three hours and then I get to have a riding lesson after. Sometimes we can work for about an hour, groom the horses and have our lesson, then have a lunch break, and then we finish our hours. What's great about this is that the three hours I do a week counts for my community service hours for school. That means that I'm having fun and doing something for school. The only part I don't like is my instructer, Coleen, sometimes she doesn't show me how to do something, and then she expects me to know how to do it, and then she sometimes gets angry. The coolest part of that day which was last Saturday, I got kicked by a horse! It didn't break any bones because sense I am short, he kicked right above my knee, so now I show all my friends my bruise. They think it's pretty cool! That was my goal. Anyway, the horse I got to ride that day was Mojave (moe-hav-e). He was the most stubborn horse ever! He wouldn't trot for me. He is just a brat. But he sure is cute! His color is called palomino. Here's a few pictures of him:
Isn't he cute?
I'm Texas Barrel Racing! Look at me go!
Here, have some apple, Mojave!
I have a few pictures of me working, so why don't you look at these:
My friend Anna and I sweeping the ramp
Going off to groom the ponies!
I'm getting burrs out of Riobravo's mane!
Here's the sign of the farm and the bridge to the farm:
The awesome sign to an awesome place
The beatiful water under the safe bridge
Time to take Mojave's bridle off
I'm going back tomorrow, and I'll take some pictures with my digital camera. Seeya then!!!
Callahan :)
